Here at Boboli it's part of our ethos to always use the best ingredients we can get our hands on, whether this be locally sourced or imported from the finest regions in Italy. Which is why we are now using Sharpham Park spelt flour to make our delicious pizza bases.
Sharpham Park is a historic 300 acre park near Glastonbury in Somerset which is now the home of Roger Saul, founder of Mulberry. With it's own organic mill, the spelt flour is made using traditional methods of milling and the hard outer layer of the grain is left on right up until the milling process begins. This keeps all nutrients locked in and maintains the amazing taste, making spelt flour a whole lot healthier and packed with a lot more flavour than traditional flour, so maybe you don't have to feel as guilty next time you order a pizza for dinner!
Lino and the team have been working hard on the new recipe and now it's been perfected, we think the pizzas are even more spectacular than before.
