Buongiorno…in fact, Buon Anno! Happy New Year to you all, albeit slightly late.
You must forgive us, we have become a little out of practice at keeping in touch with you all.
Whilst the second half of 2021 brought a promise and hope for recovery from the trying past months, the final weeks of the year were even more challenging in so many ways, and yet we did it!
We stayed open for when we hoped we would be, and even against the odds, managed to fill both Boboli and The Lighthouse with happy, socially distanced folk for New Year’s Eve!
We made it, we got over the finish line and have bounded into 2022 with suitable style and a healthy degree of optimism for the year ahead.
This week we are delighted to announce the return of our set menus.
At Boboli, Prezzo Fisso, our fabulous set lunch menu which we will serve from 12 noon until 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday. We have tweaked it from our previous version to offer a thoroughly Italian styled menu, offering not three but four courses!
Of course, you are welcome to order only three, or even two courses, if it’s a more modest light lunch you are after.
At The Lighthouse, our Set Supper menu returns on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, served from 5pm till last orders, and offers sharing nibbles, a choice of mains, and some yummy puds, for those who wish to indulge.
At £22.50 per person for three courses, we think both menus offer a little something extra to our main menus and at a bit of a cheeky little price, amidst all the inflated costs we are all enduring, we are doing our best to keep it affordable at Boboli and The Lighthouse.
Sadly, we have not yet managed to recruit the missing cog to add to our fabulous team to enable us to resume 7 days a week at Boboli, but we are working on it I promise!

Having said that, there are some Mondays we simply cannot ignore. Keep an eye out for our lovely Valentine’s Day menus, which are going to be something a bit special as we open both restaurants on Monday 14th especially for the occasion.
And it’s a big “Hola” to Paella, which returns to The Lighthouse in February too!
So lots going on, and lots to celebrate as we enter into the new year, maybe with some caution, but mostly with thanks and celebration!
